If you need financial aid to help you pay for college, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. The 2018–19 FAFSA form will be available on Oct. 1, 2017. You should fill it out as soon as possible on the official government site, fafsa.gov.

Our scholarships award $5,000 per year for four years or until graduation, whichever comes first, and high school seniors through college juniors may apply. Specific criteria are used in the selection process and students must maintain a minimum G.P.A. to continue receiving the scholarship. The Scholarship Committee reviews all of the applications following the December deadline and determines which of the applicants will be interviewed in the spring. Following the interviews, the Scholarship Committee makes its selection and the scholarship recipients are notified. The Bedsole Scholars online scholarship application is now open to seniors who plan on attending a college or university in Alabama next fall. It is time again for the Dollar General Bowl’s "Student of the Month" Scholarship Program presented by the C Spire 1st & 10 Club. Last year they were able to award $11,500 in scholarship money to local students! There are two deadlines. The deadlines are September 15 th and October 3 rd. The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors.
